The Salym Project (Part 1)
The movie on the Salym Project that is realized by Salym Petroleum Development. It is a Joint Venture established on a 50:50 basis by Shell and Russian oil company Evikhon controlled by Sibir Energy plc. Since 2003 SPD has been developing the Salym group of oilfields (West Salym, Upper Salym and Vadelyp), which are located in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. During this time a major modern oil production facilities were built here.
