I Joined a Ninh Binh Day Tour — Was It Worth It?

I joined a Ninh Binh day tour from Hanoi to see how much you can really experience in just one day. The morning started with a bus picking up travelers from around the world in Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After a 2.5-hour drive, we arrived in Ninh Binh. We cycled along small dirt roads surrounded by limestone mountains, ponds, and rivers before visiting the ancient temples of Hoa Lu. Then came the highlight of the trip — a 2.5-hour boat ride through Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called “Ha Long Bay on land.” The final challenge was Hang Mua: 500 steps to reach one of the most breathtaking views in Ninh Binh.
