Cracked plaster peels from the walls like dried skin, the windows stare back like empty eyes that haven’t seen the world in ages. Inside, you can feel dampness, mustiness… and something else. Something you can’t quite name until you step foot inside. Biały Dwór is a place with roots reaching back to the end of the 13th century. This is where the Cistercians from a nearby monastery created the Zawada farm — part of a vast economic network that kept the order running for centuries. Forests were cleared for fields and ponds, and Zawada became one of the key nodes in this impressive system. In the 18th century the farm expanded its functions: a glassworks operated here, later a distillery, and every change of ownership reshaped the place once again. After the dissolution of the monastery, the land passed to secular administrators, and after World War II it became part of the state agricultural enterprise. In the 1950s a residential block was built for workers — once full of life, families, and everyday conversations. Today the building stands abandoned, and its interiors resemble a museum of everyday life: old furniture, toys, scraps of wallpaper. These are the material traces of the people who lived here — and the eras that have long since vanished. And that’s where the stories begin. Those who dared to enter speak of strange chills, footsteps echoing through empty hallways, faint whispers, and the sounds of objects being moved. One team — SRC Urbex — captured not only the “classic” anomalies but also some extremely unusual REM-Pod behavior. The devices reacted intensely to electromagnetic changes — could that really indicate someone’s presence? During our investigation, more than once a step behind us sounded as if someone was walking right at our backs. Every question seemed to receive an answer… though not always a clear one. But there was something even more disturbing. We couldn’t be entirely sure we wouldn’t run into someone inside. What we didn’t expect was that, aside from abandoned toys, the entire building would turn into a kind of eerie playground. And today, one thing is certain: we got pulled into a dark game.
