Hiking on a VOLCANO | Mount Liamuiga | St. Kitts Volcano Hike

In this video we go hiking on a volcano, through the rainforest to see the crater rim at the top. St. Kitts is one of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles and is home to the dormant volcano Mount Liamuiga. Mount Liamuiga offers an epic hike to the volcano crater. Mount Liamuiga is a stratovolcano and has the highest point on St. Kitts at 3,792-foot (1,156 m). The mountain sides of Liamuiga are filled with farmland, villages and rainforest. For those looking to experience the natural beauty on the island of St. Kitts beyond the beaches, Mount Liamuiga is a great destination. The hike up the mountainside to the volcano rim is challenging but beautiful. Those who make it to the top get to enjoy views into the lush volcano crater and beautiful blue views of the Caribbean Sea.
