DANA deja miles de daminificados en la región de Murcia

The DANA has already passed and the sun is now shining, but its effects will remain for a long time in the region of Murcia. The towns along the Mar Menor are still flooded by mud and water. Thousands are homeless. Those who haven't lost their businesses have seen their homes flooded. In Los Alcázares, hundreds of residents, evacuated from their homes, have spent the night in designated shelters. Here, the lament has a common denominator, because this is nothing new. They already suffered severe cold snaps three years ago, although this time it was three times worse. The bright side of the tragedy is solidarity. Hundreds of young people from other towns in Murcia, summoned by university students through social media, have traveled to Los Alcázares and San Javier to help with the cleanup efforts.
