Virtual Chelsea Flower Show - Flower Pressing Workshop

With Chelsea Flower Show going digital in 2020, we take the opportunity to revisit our pollinator plants from the previous year. Our 2019 installation at the London Gate entrance to Chelsea Flower Show was inspired by and made for the bees. Many of the plants used to create our installation were grown at Slade Adventure Playground & Garden in Stockwell, with the help of enthusiastic volunteers and young people of the community. Following the show, we saved all of the pollinator plants, and replanted them into the same garden to provide many more years of delicious nectar for the bees. For Virtual Chelsea, we revisit the garden in full bloom to select, press and preserve a handful of our pollinator plants, whilst talking you through the process of flower pressing.
