Steve Austin of Today Is The Day Talks New Album and True Underground Music
We caught up with the great Steve Austin of Today Is The Day at Market Hotel in Brooklyn, New York on their Tour with The Obsessed. Armed with a brand new album, “No Good to Anybody”, and a new label partner BMG, Steve was pumped up about the present and the future of the band. We discussed Steve's longevity in the business, the brand new album, how he got TDITD on BMG Records, touring with bands such as The Obsessed and -16-, the effect a major label can have on bands, his new life and home studio in a remote part of Maine, his plans for extensive TDITD remasters and box sets in the future, being a musical outlaw, and much more.
