What Happens If You Leave Minecraft Running for 14.6 billion Years?

What happens if Minecraft time overflows past the 64-bit long limit? In this video I will push the Minecraft clock all the way to a theoretical 14.6 billion years and see what will happen once it overflows. We will investigate how Minecraft handles time internally, how DayTime and GameTime are calculated, why versions between 1.7.2 and 1.20.4 show time running backwards due to a client/server mismatch. I will test lighting, mob spawning, crop growth, redstone, moon phase rendering and sky behavior after the overflow. Tested versions: Minecraft 1.21.11, 1.21.0, 1.14.2, 1.13.2, 1.7.10, 1.0, beta 1.7.3.
