Suzuki GS850 Chop TLC Part 4 - Carb Strip, Fault Finding & Cleaning Mikuni BS34SS
Today I stripped the carbs to investigate the fuel problem, the inlet needle valves are mullered and need replacing. These are Mikuni BS34SS CV carbs. I chucked some of the parts through the ultrasonic bath and blew out the various galleries, checked the diaphragm rubbers etc. I had a complete nightmare getting the emulsion tubes back in which involved a lot of swearing, I've edited that bit out... ;)
