🇨🇭Alphorn Builders Play Test

This often happens. We are packing up after rehearsal and people stop their vehicle on the roadway to hear us play. Plus in this instance, a group who had been at the fish pond and heard the faint sound of the “longest, loudest” had come in search of us, and had just arrived, eager to hear more. So this was the amazing impromptu mini concert which postponed everyone’s dinner…! Built in the 🇺🇸American West: the two horns at the far end are made like wine barrels with staves made of west coast redwood. The two closest alphorns are carbon fiber core with a variety of solid wood & veneers (one of them being zebra wood, from Africa).
