Roger Miller just surprised me in the BEST way. I went into “Dang Me” expecting something light… maybe even just a novelty track. What I got instead was sharp storytelling, incredible timing, and one of the most entertaining performances I’ve heard in a long time. From the very first note, this song is alive. Nothing wasted. Every line hits. And that delivery? Smooth, playful, and completely in control. And yes… I had to stop and ask, was he SCATTING?! 😄 This is my reaction to one of Roger Miller’s first big hits, and if this is how he’s coming out the gate… we’re in for a ride.
