Former trainer Sakae Kunieda, who retired from his job as a trainer, has made a fresh start as a stablehand. We were fortunate enough to be granted permission by the Kojima Shigeyuki stable to photograph Mr. Kunieda, who has been reported to be working as a "helper (stablehand)" at the Kojima Shigeyuki stable in Miho. We are deeply impressed by his courage and spirit as he embarks on a new life at the age of 70!
