Dr. Cissie Fu is Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the Institute for Philosophy of Leiden University and Co-Founder of the Political Arts Initiative, which invites 21st-century imag-e-nations of the political through digital technology and the creative and performing arts. She has lectured at Oxford and University College London and serves as Senior Tutor and Director of Studies at Leiden University College . Cissie is a regular guest curator and performer at artistic institutions in The Hague and Amsterdam, and is currently writing a book on the politics of silence. About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
