A Perfect 3 Watch Collection: Seiko's Greatest Diver, A Casio G-Shock Killer & Germany's Best Value

Today I share the watches I'm wearing the most in 2025 so far, as it's an insightful and fascinating snapshot of just how far I've come as a watch enthusiast...especially when you consider a decade ago I didn't even like these three timepieces. What has changed? Why would I consider this an ultimate collection within itself? As always, it reveals so much about the watch industry, myself, identity, valuable lessons learned, and where I want to go next in my collecting journey. In this trilogy of a do-it-all collection I explore why the Seiko Willard (ref. SPB237) aka the Gray Birch is the greatest Seiko automatic diver ever made, and why it totally rules the roost at under $1000. With the second piece I discuss the recently acquired Glashutte Original PanoMatic Lunar, why it is the best value German made timepiece currently on the market, and how it punches so far above its weight. And I conclude this trio with the Breitling Aerospace (ref. E7936210/B781) a Swiss made luxury beater watch that not only is the ultimate G-Shock killer, but is a paradox manifested in horological form, and makes me question notions of timing technology, what truly constitutes a luxury watch, and the never ending power of nostalgia.
