How to cheaply convert an AC-only stick welder (Lincoln "Buzz Box" / "Tombstone" Welder) to DC on the cheap! I FINISHED IT!! • Finished Product - DC Conversion Lincoln 2... I use a 1400V 400A Full Wave Bridge Rectifier to convert the AC from the transformer to DC. It worked great and was only about $30 delivered from eBay.
