Two-Seventy-Free! Mysterious 273 LA Mopar Teardown, History, Component ID Tips, And Much More

I sure do love the "Little Magic" 273. I've done many videos about them, and built a pretty awesome one that managed to pull the wheels of my Barracuda like six inches off the ground a handful of times. Apparently word that I like them has gotten out, because this is at least the third 273 that has been given to me for free. The sweet spot for these engines is 1966-1967, due to the later cylinder head design being compatible with typical aftermarket manifolds. This one is not that, but any early 273 should still be packed with goodies - and I can't help but notice that various components here are shiny and new. So on today's special Christmas episode of Trash Or Treasure, we're going to find out just what's hiding in this humble small block. Hopefully we'll learn some stuff along the way. Let's dive in.
