KBVO Commercial Breaks (April 13, 1990)
Austin, Texas! Another state capital! And my first upload from that market in 4 years! Some commercials airing during The Arsenio Hall Show and the movie "Torn Curtain," airing as part of the "Fox 42 Million Dollar Movie." "Fox 42" was the name for KBVO-TV (channel 42), which is now CBS affiliate KEYE-TV. The KBVO call letters are now on another Austin TV station. Enjoy the local Austin area commercials and early Fox promos. KBVO was one of the first non-Fox O&Os to "Fox-ify" itself, owing to being one of the network's highest-ranked affiliates in its early years. The station also had a big movie portfolio (similar to WXXA's). Also, appropriate since they are in the NBA Finals this year, KBVO was the first non-San Antonio station to air Spurs games! (C) 1990 Austin Television; KEYE is now owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. All rights go to their respective owners, same for the advertisements. For educational and historical purposes only. We do not profit off this video.
