It's part of a family of two Xboom models: the LG RN7, the intermediate model, and the LG RN5, the entry-level speaker. Thankfully, I've had the opportunity to test both for a while now. The links to both are in the description, don't miss them! Continuing, the LG RN9 came as a replacement for the LG OK99, with, according to the brand, 1650 watts of power. Before it was the LG OJ98, also with 1650 watts of power, and the first LG speaker in Brazil was the OM7560 with 1000 watts of power. My opinion on it, starting with the positive points, is as follows: its weight, dimensions, and carrying handles are positive points when moving it around. The LED lighting, the X-Boom detail on the grille, and the red detail appeal to me. Moving on to the dashboard, I also like the slightly rougher finish because it doesn't scratch easily. This rotary knob is extremely useful. Having NFC, Bluetooth, wired park link, dual USB, radio, and remote control is very good, as is the optical input, the two P10 inputs on the back, the automatic dual voltage, and the fact that the power cord isn't fixed and there's a kind of corner bracket with a little foot underneath. However, there are some details I didn't like. Continuing on the back, it could have wheels to facilitate its transport, along with higher feet so it's not so close to the ground. This lack of finishing is very ugly. It lacks an audio output, such as RCA or P2. Also on the dashboard, the display is very small; I would like it if there was another one on the front. Or it could be bigger, considering all that empty space, which could also accommodate rotary buttons like this one, for microphone, instrument, and volume controls. The USB ports could have covers to prevent dust accumulation, or they could be located on the back. On the front, they could have kept the CD option that it has in other countries, or added an LED effect like the OM7560 to disguise that "forehead." The black piano finish is very nice, but I don't like it because it scratches so easily. The grille could be easier to remove for cleaning. The air ducts should have a kind of screen, like on the OJ98 and OK99, to prevent insects from entering. And it should have higher feet so it doesn't have so much contact with the floor.
