北方文化博物館、越後随一の大地主、伊藤家の歩んだ歴史博物館 2023年5月5日撮影 八代当主が敷地中央に移植した、いまや当館の代名詞である樹齢160年・80畳の大藤棚が見頃を迎えていました。 七代当主の構想の下に作られた池泉回遊式庭園。作庭を託されたのは柏崎市出身の庭匠・田中泰阿弥という、銀閣寺の二つの清泉の石組みを見事に発掘・復元したことで天才と呼ばれた人物で、各間からの視線が巧みに計算されています。築庭には5年をかけ、昭和33年に完成。自身の最高傑作と泰阿弥が誇った美しさ。名庭師と新潟の自然が織りなす、美しさに息をのみました。 北方文化博物館、豪農・伊藤邸の物語をホームページから抜粋し、「結月ゆかり」によるナレーションをつけて解りやすく説明してみました。 https://hoppou-bunka.com/ 田中 泰阿弥（たなか たいあみ、1898年 - 1978年）は、日本の作庭家、庭師。新潟県柏崎市出身。孤高の「庭匠」とよばれた。 https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E7%94%... The seventh generation head of the family envisioned a garden with a pond and a circular path around it. The garden was designed by Tanaka Taiami, a master gardener from Kashiwazaki City, who was called a genius for his brilliant excavation and restoration of the masonry of the two clear fountains of Ginkakuji Temple, and the view from each room is skillfully calculated. The garden took five years to build and was completed in 1958. It is a beauty that Taiami boasted was his own masterpiece. The beauty of the combination of the master gardener and Niigata's nature took my breath away.
