If you powsurf in the mountains you will eventually experience dings, dents or de-laminations that can happen from the normal and abnormal wear and tear that happens when powsurfing. This is why we build nearly all our powsurfers with proper sintered p-tex bases. This makes your powsurf ride faster, absorb wax properly, and it will massively increase durability and the life of your powdersurfer. Grassroots Powsurfers are extremely durable and easily fixable if you encounter any damage from rocks or stumps in the snowpack.
