Why Google is Eradicating the Mosquito

Every summer, millions of Americans hear the same sound. A truck rolls through their neighborhood, filling the streets with chemical fog to kill mosquitoes. It isn't working anymore. Mosquitoes are evolving faster than the pesticides designed to stop them, allowing deadly diseases like Dengue, Zika, and West Nile to spread into new regions. Now, Google believes the only way to win is to stop fighting mosquitoes with chemicals, and start using biology instead. The plan sounds unbelievable. Release up to 32 million mosquitoes across Florida and California. Not genetically modified monsters, not disease-carrying insects. Millions of harmless male mosquitoes carrying a naturally occurring bacterium that prevents future generations from hatching, causing mosquito populations to collapse from the inside. It has already shown remarkable results in real-world trials, but scaling the project to entire states raises enormous scientific, environmental, and ethical questions. Could this become the future of disease control, or one of the biggest biological experiments ever attempted? 00:29 - The Deadliest Animal 03:19 - The Pesticide Paradox 05:31 - The Digital Sniper 08:01 - The Wolbachia Weapon 11:14 - The Fresno Proof 13:25 - The Red Queen's Race 14:40 - The End of the Fog Narrated by: Josh Risser 🔔 Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE! 🔔 SUGGEST A TOPIC: https://bit.ly/suggest-an-infographic... 💬 Come chat with me:   / discord   🔖 MY SOCIAL PAGES TikTok ►   / theinfographicsshow   Facebook ►   / theinfographicsshow   📝 SOURCES: https://pastebin.com/2hQ2yVzD All videos are based on publicly available information unless otherwise noted.
