Newark City Subway: From Canal to PCC to LRV
I made this video back in 2005, before the Light Rail extension to the Broad St train station opened. I never uploaded it to YT as at that time YT limited video time to 10 minutes or less, and this is 12 minutes. I give a brief history of the right-of-way from the Morris Canal to the subway opening thru to 2005 operations. Although called Newark Light Rail today, it will always be the Newark City subway to me. It features PCCs on their last day of operation in 2001. Someday I might update the video to the present day. #newarkcitysubway #newarknj
