In this video, I will explain how to tell your boss you are unhappy at work. I will also share my own story and reveal what I said to my boss when I told her I was always unhappy at work. It is quite possible that you are not ready for a career change, but are just noticing that you are always unhappy at work. The goal is to learn how to tell your boss you are unhappy without necessarily looking at how to quit your job. I quit teaching after speaking with my boss and telling her how I was unhappy at work. Quitting teaching wasn’t something that was ever in my plan for my life, however I was unhappy with the demands it was placing on my life and the lack of a work/life balance. I learned how to speak to my boss in a way that resulted in the outcome I was hoping for. I got closure and felt comfortable knowing that quitting teaching wasn’t something I was going to regret.
