EMDR preverbal protocol
In a previous video, I described the standard EMDR protocol. That protocol starts by choosing a memory to work on. What do you do, though, if a trauma happens before a person is able to form conscious memories? If you're doing standard talk therapy, the answer to that is that you can't do anything. With the EMDR preverbal protocol, though, you can. That protocol can even be used to heal traumas that happened before the client was born! I have used this protocol with many clients who have found it to be profoundly healing.
