Agalloch - Limbs ( Full Guitar Cover ) - Ashes Against the Grain

One of my biggest achievements is being able to play an Agalloch song. This is my all time favorite band in metal. Atmospheric, melodic, emotional and heavy. Everything I need in metal. This cover took a lot of time to make and was made on an on and off basis throughout the year and beyond, I first started my attempts at covering this band some years ago, but due to lack of experience and an untrained ear I couldn't figure out how to play their songs. The tabs on the internet seemed to me very wrong. Firstly, instead of playing it in D standard, people for some reason decided to use Drop D, however even the band itself played this song in D standard on stage. Secondly, people decided to play power chords throughout the whole track, which is boring and amateurish. So in order to piss everyone off I decided to play it on a 7-string and many parts of the song are changed to fit my view of this song. I hope you;ll enjoy my take! #agalloch #blackmetal #postmetal
