Silver Springs Where are the Monkeys

We went on a safari looking for the famous wild monkeys at Silver Springs State Park in Florida... and things didn't exactly go as planned! 🐒 Read below for everything we did (and didn't) see on our latest adventure. Known for its incredibly crystal-clear turquoise waters and Hollywood film history, this park is an absolute must-visit. We jumped aboard the iconic historic green glass-bottom boats to peer deep into the 72-degree springs, checking out the underwater life, ancient structures, and native fish. Afterward, we hit the scenic walking trails, boardwalks, and lush gardens to spot classic Florida wildlife. While we managed to see beautiful herons, massive turtles, and even a few alligators, the famous wild monkeys decided to play hard to get! Even without our primate friends, Silver Springs proved exactly why it’s an absolute treasure.
