But he must have remembered I love them, because he brought me here... to the Dounan Flower Market (斗南花市). I had no idea what this place truly was. It turns out, this is the LARGEST flower market in all of ASIA and the second largest in the ENTIRE WORLD! He just smiled and said, 'Go ahead, choose whatever you want.' I was so touched. It made me realize this is his way of being romantic—not buying me a small bouquet, but bringing me to the actual epicenter of the flower world to choose for myself. I’ve never seen anything like this. The place is enormous, and the prices... I'm still in shock! It's unbelievably cheap compared to Thailand.
