I've been playing them for 10 months now, had at least 30 gigs with it and countless hours of practise and studio work. They nearly sound the same as the new strings! The la Bella super polished are nearly smooth as flatwounds but they sound like a set of roundwounds with a little less highs. Absolut fantastic! They got extraordinary low end, even on the g-string! Unfortunately the B-string sounded dull after 4 months and i replaced it with a DR Low Rider strings, which fits perfect. Good B-string are generally hard to find and even harder on half and flatwounds!
