What it’s like in Norway’s darkest months? (travel during polar night)

What's it actually like to travel to Arctic Norway during polar night — when the sun doesn't rise for weeks? I spent a week in Tromsø and the islands around it, living in near-total darkness, chasing the northern lights, and finding out what 24-hour darkness actually does to your body, your sleep, and your head. I said goodbye to the sun and came to northern Norway to answer the questions I couldn't stop asking: is it really that dark? Does it mess with you? And what does it feel like to travel somewhere when day and night stop making sense? This is the honest version — the cost, the chaotic sleep, the beauty, and whether I could actually live here.
