Not the start we imagined. – Ep 01: Lap of Australia

Hey everyone! We were so focused on keeping this video as short as possible that we forgot to introduce ourselves. SO, we’re Matt and Che (“Shay”) and we’ve created this YouTube channel mainly to capture our travels around Australia, but also to share anything worth knowing along the way. After rushing to get our set-up ready in less than 2 months, also including a surprise wisdom tooth surgery just before leaving, we left for our lap of Aus being much less prepared than we would have liked. In this video we reminisce on the chaos that unfolded as a result and have a laugh over our first couple of weeks on the road. Otherwise, we hope you also get a laugh and learn from our poor choices and misfortunes during the start of our journey around Australia! We should also add that we sat down and captured this reflection in June 2023. We’ve since travelled as far as Noosa on the south coast of QLD and are about to hit the road again after 3 months of work to keep the dream alive! Matt & Ché
