One of the most sinister and interesting concepts that we have seen in the Poppy Playtime game is the fact that the different experiments or living toys that are part of the Big Bodies Initiative are actually humans who were transformed into those monstrous and terrifying beings such as Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Longlegs, Catnap, Kissy Missy and many of the other living toys like Doey the Doughman and even the Mini Huggies and the Smiling Critters. Something quite macabre and unexpected is that throughout the different chapters of Poppy Playtime we have been able to see how they have really created these experiments that are living organic beings and that are not really any type of animatronics or fake pets created to amaze those who enter the Playtime Co factory, but are beings created by using part of the brain and nervous system of human beings who in many cases were the same orphans of Playcare as in the case of Theodore Grambell who is actually Catnap, it is never really revealed to us how they create the experiments but we are given some clues about how they do this in the different documents and VHS that we can find throughout the different chapters.
