Lightroom Folder Location Optimization to improve Adobe Performance
One thing people many users of Lightroom and Photoshop don't realize is that both products like to make use of computer storage resources. I have found it makes sense to monitor the amount of room available on the internal storage of my computer to ensure that Lightroom Previews, and Photoshop have plenty of room to work. At the same time, I like to keep many of my recent downloads resident on my computer due to the size of the files. I find that this also helps with performance as I work with those files. In this video, I show my method of migrating a years worth of photos from my internal storage to external storage. This method is different from what Adobe recommends. In the video, I discuss why I use this approach.
