Therefore, winglets and racing livery have been deliberately omitted. The 72-degree V4 engine has a displacement of 1200 cc and produces 206 hp at 11,500 rpm. A hefty 130 Nm of torque is available from just 9,000 rpm; the torque curve is designed to outperform even more powerful competitors up to 8,000 rpm. Five riding modes (three predefined, two programmable) and a quickshifter for the cassette gearbox are also included. State-of-the-art electronics are also standard, including semi-active suspension from Marzocchi. Among the advanced rider aids are the familiar lean-angle-sensitive safety features, as well as launch control and hill start assist. Furthermore, we find top-of-the-line components throughout – such as Brembo Hypure calipers on 330mm discs at the front – and full connectivity via the generous 8-inch TFT display. This connectivity also includes smartwatches and GoPros. With its beautiful aluminum single-sided swingarm, which perfectly showcases the 200-section rear tire (Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4SP), and exclusive carbon fiber wheels from BST, the Norton Manx R is said to weigh 204 kg dry. This includes heated grips and the keyless entry system.
