This Painting Wasn’t Working — Now It’s One of My Favourites!

This Textured Acrylic painting didn’t start out the way I hoped. In this video I'm using joint compound and texture combs, to create beautiful textured abstract painting. I created layered circular patterns full of depth and potential — but the original color palette just felt off. I added earthy tones, greens, and blues… but something wasn’t clicking. So I stepped away. The next day, I trusted my gut and completely switched direction — bringing in a soft, airy mix of whites, blues, warm greys, and just a touch of silver leaf. That one change made all the difference!
