El Camino de Santiago de Gran Canaria | De Maspalomas a Tunte (Etapa 1)

On this first stage of the Camino de Santiago in Gran Canaria, we walked from Maspalomas to Tunte, crossing ravines, mountains, and one of the island's most unexpected landscapes. 21 kilometers of constant uphill climbing, Canarian sunshine, loaded backpacks, and a strong desire for adventure. What seemed like "just another hike" turned out to be one of the most demanding and surprising routes we've ever done. We are Ian and Gabri, and at Mordiendo el Mapa (Biting the Map), we share couple trips, hiking routes, and real adventures, both in Spain and around the world, always keeping our budgets in mind and maintaining a low-cost approach. In this video, you'll find: – What the first stage of the Camino de Santiago in Gran Canaria is like – Practical tips for the route – Actual difficulty and elevation gain – What to bring and what we wouldn't repeat – Our experience walking from Maspalomas to Tunte If you enjoy hiking, unique trips, and discovering places that hardly anyone tells you about… this Camino will surprise you.
