Public Service Announcement: It’s time to check your transmission mounting bolts. The 2000 Series aluminum transmission mounts to the frame with self-threading bolts that need occasional attention. We’ll talk about swapping them out for some better fasteners, then we’ll take off the fender pan to discover the source of our persistent transmission leak, patch it with some JB Weld, and test our fix.
