Walking Tour of Faversham 4K UHD | Kent Market & Shepherd Neame Brewery | September 2022

Join us on a quiet walk around Faversham, taking in the market, passing Shepherd Neame Brewery and ending at the Faversham Creek. Faversham is a Kent market town in the south east of England approx. 50 miles from London and near Canterbury. There Faversham Creek has been a place of settlement at Faversham since pre-Roman times. King Stephen established Faversham Abbey, which survived until the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1538. Subsequently, the town established itself as a centre for brewing, and the Shepherd Neame Brewery, founded in 1698, remains a significant major employer and is Britain’s Oldest Brewery. Faversham Market has been established for over 900 years and is still based in the town centre. There are good road and rail links, including a high-speed line to Ebbsfleet International in London. Relax and join me as I explore the sights and sounds of Faversham in 4k Ultra HD. Please use the comments to ask me questions, tell me if I missed any important sights in Faversham, or to let me know where I should walk next!
