Driving Through Granadella, Javea (Xàbia) | Beach, Villas and Bay Views

This video explores Granadella, one of the most distinctive residential areas in Javea (Xàbia) on Spain's Costa Blanca. The route begins on the winding road down to Granadella Cove before entering the beach area itself. Along the way you can see the scattered villas that occupy the hillsides above the bay, together with the traditional fishermen's cottages and houses located close to the waterfront. Many of these older properties are now used as holiday accommodation, although they remain an important part of Granadella's character. The drive continues past the two beachfront restaurants and the parking area directly in front of the cove before returning via the one-way exit road that climbs above the bay. This section provides a good view of the steep terrain that defines much of the area, as well as the extensive roadside parking used during the summer months. While the lower part of Granadella remains relatively sparsely developed, the residential areas above the bay contain some of Javea's most impressive villas. As the road climbs, housing becomes denser and many properties benefit from elevated positions overlooking the cove, the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding coastline.
