And here it is: the long-awaited follow-up to my Hit & Run “Auto”-Biography. While that video’s main objective was pinpointing the original appearances of vehicles in the TV show, I also included some suggestions for the possible real-life inspirations behind a few of them. On the whole, the video was extremely well-received and I’m seriously grateful for all of the feedback, both positive and negative. Fortunately, there wasn’t much negative, but it was evident that some of my real-life suggestions didn’t sit right with some people. Rather than making a simple video addressing these issues, I instead decided to make a more thorough video, discussing and debating many of these vehicles' real-life counterparts, utilising your comments from last time. This video was a fairly ambitious project, but I have managed to discuss every playable vehicle in the game in some capacity. Every. Single. One. While I primarily focus on the main vehicles, I also looked into the generic road traffic, although these were often fairly ambiguous. Some of these are grouped together in the video for ease, as several vehicles are derived from the same models/chassis, but they’re all here and I gave it my best shot! You might consider this video an extended deluxe edition of the “Auto”-Biography. A HUGE thank you to everyone who left some feedback and suggestions. Peace and love, and all that jazz. 12:38 – This comment is slightly too ‘stretched up’ and it bothers me, but it didn’t seem worth correcting. This is going to haunt me for the rest of my days. I hate my brain. 16:04 – I’m uncertain but the second ‘Dodge’ sedan might actually be inspired by a Plymouth Reliant. Some of the generic vehicles are a little too basic to decipher. 17:35 – This is one of the briefest discussions of a vehicle in the video – I simply didn’t have any more to say about it. 22:11 – I wanna make it clear I’m actually really appreciative of the feedback despite this clip suggesting otherwise. It just seemed appropriate. 25:42 – I actually think the Biarritz is correct here, though they are incredibly similar.
