#Kos #Travelday #aktibeachclub Welcome to another travel day!! This time we're heading to Kos from Manchester Airport and staying at the Akti Beach Club in Kardemena! We decided to stop for lunch at the Airport Pub, situated on the runway it's a fantastic place to spend the afternoon, watching all sorts of planes take off and land. The food was tasty with decent sized portions too. Prices vary but aren't overly expensive. Check it out here: https://airport.pub/ Next we make our way to the Manchester Terminal 2 Meet & Greet Parking. Easy to find and easy to drop the car and walk straight into the airport. We check in and go through to departures where we enjoy a relaxing drink while we wait to board. I may have made a cheeky purchase while I browsed the shops. (An accessorize bag!) On board the Tui flight the boys try a ham and cheese toastie and chips which were surprisingly nice. The chips were super crispy, not bad for an aeroplane snack. We have a bumpy landing in the dark and check in to the Akti Beach Club Hotel. First impressions were fantastic! Being a 5 star resort they have pretty much everything you need to make your stay perfect! A porter accompanied us to our room; a family maisonette which we thoroughly recommend. We were grateful for all the extra space we had, two en suites and a balcony each. Again perfect for families!
