Reaction & Review to Shakira's Octavo Dia (Tour Anfibio, 2000)

We are taking a trip back in time to the year 2000 during Shakira's Tour Anfibio! Fresh off the majorly successful and ground-breaking album, Donde Estan Los Ladrones?, Shakira embarked on a brief concert tour which made its way through Latin America with a few short stops in the US. What makes this tour special in particular is that she was already making a big name for herself and is now about to make her crossover to the English market. Octavo Dia won the 2000 Latin Grammys Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance. Yet, she has not sung nor acknowledged the track since 2003. This song needs to make a comeback to the stage. One of my top 3 favorite Shakira tracks and an all time die-hard fan classic. (ROCK)ira was very much so alive in this tour. The stage production was simple but the vibes and energy was explosive! An unforgetable tour to say the least. No official filming or recordings were released but luckily we have professional tour screens footage from Argentina and most recently, Venezuela. Maybe someday Shakira will release some from her personal tour vault. Support the artist, support the albums, support the tracks. All rights and recognition to the artist.
