Some concepts need to be clear to those of you seeking real WEIGHT LOSS. But, Caio, is there such a thing as "fake weight loss"? A: Yes, there is! And worse... This type of "weight loss" makes you gain even more weight after each attempt. 👉 Losing weight and getting into shape are based on the same concept: LOSING FAT. We can get into shape by maintaining OR increasing lean mass, but losing FAT is essential. Understand that ⤵️ 👉 It's possible to lose FAT and lose WEIGHT. 👉 It's possible to lose FAT and MAINTAIN weight. 😱 But, surprisingly: it's possible to lose WEIGHT and NOT lose FAT! Some people lose weight and remain "fat." Why and when does this happen? 👉 There are people who focus on the WRONG strategy to truly define and lose weight, such as ⤵️ 1️⃣ They only follow a restrictive diet and don't exercise. 2️⃣ They focus only on aerobic training and don't do strength training (whether at home or at the gym). How to solve this? 1️⃣ Dieting can't make you HUNGRY, it should just be more restrictive. However, restriction is DIFFERENT from EXCLUSION! You don't necessarily need to cut out basic foods; you just need to balance them throughout your daily meals. 2️⃣ Training just anything won't work, or at least not with the speed and quality of results you want. You need to train strength, and this involves LOAD, not just "jumping" exercises or exercises that make you sweat.
