How to Use the Metabo HPT Driver Drill (Wood, Concrete & Screws)

A hands-on demo of the Metabo HPT DS18DEX 18V MultiVolt driver drill. We slide in the 18V battery and check the charge, then walk through the 1-to-22 torque settings, drill mode, two-speed switch, forward and reverse, and the Reactive Force Control that stops the tool if a bit binds. Then we run three tests: driving and removing screws on a low torque setting, drilling clean holes in wood, and trying concrete with a masonry bit. The DS18DEX has no hammer mode, so we show how it manages concrete in drill mode and explain when a hammer drill is the better tool.
