UTC Behind the Scenes of a Record-Setting Move

In late 2015, Project Cargo Logistics specialists UTC Overseas of Houston, TX, successfully completed the delivery of a massive phase-shifting transformer from China to rural Utah. The move, over 16 months in the planning required ocean, rail and over-road heavy haul and in the process, set new records in New Mexico, Arizona and Utah for the heaviest loads ever permitted for over-road transport through those states.
