#YeonghaeRestaurantJeju I recently enjoyed a refreshing spicy wheat noodle dish at "Yeonghae Restaurant," a true old-school eatery that has been around for a whopping 72 years. The menu offers a fairly diverse selection, including wheat noodles, spicy wheat noodles, momguk (a type of soup), meat noodles, beef stew, and boiled pork slices. It is located near Daejeong Elementary School in Hamori, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si. Having started in 1954, it feels as though the weight of those years is fully captured in the food. It is a genuine old-school restaurant with a comforting taste that isn't overly stimulating, where the harmony of sweet and salty flavors truly enhances the taste. Since it is located in the heart of Daejeong-eup, it is easily accessible, so I highly recommend visiting at least once.
