You can get different rental options by manually changing the date on your computer. For those running into an issue with the bus stop not working: If you're sure you've read the Cherry and Plain posters to have the character acknowledge the bus routes, you might be running into a bug. I did not experience this bug myself, so these are recommendations I've seen made by other players for a 'fix': 1) Reread the posters a few times. 2) Read every single poster on the board. 3) Restart the game. 4) If none of those work, I would personally try reinstalling the game or running the Steam file checker to fix any corrupted files.
