Supergirl Is BETTER Than People Give It Credit For

Recently we saw the release of the latest instalment in the DCU franchise with the big screen debut of Supergirl. Coming into it, I wasn’t really sure what to expect from the movie given that I’m not very familiar with the character at all. However when I sat down to watch it I ended up coming away really enjoying myself. Because of that I was really shocked to see just how poorly received it had been by critics and vocal parts of the wider fan base online. Today in my Supergirl review, I want to talk about why I thought the film was good and pose a little bit of a defence to some of the louder critiques. Enjoy!
