This Castle Looks Exactly The Same As When It Was Destroyed | Castle Montfort

Welcome back to Germany. We’re on another excursion with our friend from OrcaFPV. This time we’re exploring the castle of Montfort. It included an outer bailey, three enclosures, five gates and several moats, though these are not as visible. The inner castle is what counts. Since its destruction in the 15th century it has not been rebuilt or remodelled. This means that the ruins we see today are exactly as they were 500 or so years ago, with some reinforcement works done as well of course. This gives us quite a unique look into the past as we are able to see exactly what a Medieval castle looked like during the Middle Ages. Quite unique. Thank you for watching!
