Whirlpool Cabrio Floor Leak - FIX

How I fixed a leak my Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum was having. To begin with, I checked to see where the water was coming from. I stopped a load when the drum was filling to see if the drum was leaking from the bottom. And then looked at the back connections to make sure it wasn’t coming from where the water was attached to the machine or from the drain.After noticing it wasn’t leaking from the bottom or back, I realized it must be something up top where the filling was happening. Which led me to look at the fabric softener. That’s where I found my problem.
