Don’t Ask for Patience
The last two verses of Sūratu l-Baqarah tell us that, along with difficulties, Allāh ﷻ gives the power to carry them. The rewards are great if you can be patient in difficulty, but don’t ask Allāh ﷻ for patience. Ask for an easy life and goodness in the hereafter.
